Dear parents,

Class 3 – Telford Town Centre Trip – Tuesday 14th May 2024

To enrich our topic ‘Urban Pioneers’ this half term, Class 3 will be heading off to Telford Town Park on Tuesday 14th May 2024, where they will explore the local area and identify any urban characteristics, comparing Telford with Berlin!

This trip is due to take place during the school day and we will be leaving promptly at 9:30am. We are due to arrive back at St Luke's before the end of the school day so your child can be collected from the classroom as per their normal home time routine or attend club if they have booked a place.

Children will need to wear their school uniform. They will also need a suitable outdoor coat.

All children will require a packed lunch and a labelled water bottle (no glass please). If your child is eligible to receive FSM they will be provided with a packed lunch on the morning of the trip unless you specifically advise on ParentPay your child will bring a lunch from home.

We would ask that children bring a small rucksack to carry their lunch and water bottle to allow them to be hands free to participate fully in the experience please.

The cost of this trip is just £3.90 per child!  Please ensure you confirm your consents by completing the details requested on ParentPay asap but no later than Monday 13th May 2024!

Please be advised that insufficient support may result in this event being cancelled.

We will be photographing pupils participating in activities throughout the day but if you do not wish your child to be included, please ensure you carefully check and annotate the consents accordingly on ParentPay. If you change your mind regarding photographs at any point, please contact St Luke’s prior to the event.

If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the school office.

Kind regards,

Miss K Bradley
