Today Class 2 have kickstarted their scented garden topic with a memorable experience day. They took part in a perfume making session where they chose from herbs and citrus fruits to create their own unique scent. They will also be bringing home a bio-degradable plant pot with their own choice of seed. Please try to keep these plants happy and well looked after as we will have a competition at the end of term to see which plant has grown the most ! The paper pot can be planted directly into a larger pot or into the ground once the plant is big enough. Lastly we encouraged the children to take care of the school grounds by weeding unused plant beds and filling them with seeds.
