How will I know if School is closed for Adverse Weather?
Dear Parents and Carers,
If adverse weather is forecast, please ensure you are aware of the following.
If the decision to close the school is taken before the start of the school day, it will be published on the Telford and Wrekin School Closure page. Please note all closures include Breakfast Club and After School Club.
If the adverse weather arrives after the school day has started, and a decision is made to close school, we will continue to update the school website and Facebook and contact parents by email and ParentPay.
It should be remembered that when pupils are in school, they are safe and warm.
Key Points for parents to consider:
- Only use the school website, Facebook and the Telford and Wrekin School Closure page to obtain accurate information. Do not rely on hearsay.

Please do not telephone the school, we require access to the telephone lines at all times in case of emergency and if the school is closed staff will not be onsite to answer calls.

Decisions to close the school are made on a daily basis and parents are encouraged to keep checking on the agreed published areas for updates.

Only closures will be announced, if there is no announcement of closure then the school is open for all pupils and staff.
Please be assured that the decision to close school is not made with ease, our preference is always for the children to be in school learning.
