End of Year Message from Miss Evans
Dear Parents and Carers,
Here we are again, the end of another wonderful academic year. This year has been filled with so many highlights, too many to mention. Although for me one highlight was taking class 5 to Drayton Manor and seeing everybody have so much fun and enjoying being with each other in the sunshine.
I am so proud of everyone's achievements this year, the children have worked so hard across the curriculum and made fabulous progress and achieved so much. We are very lucky as a school to have such resilient and determined pupils who work hard and are determined to achieve their best.
Today we say goodbye to year 6, who are off to continue their learning at secondary school. We are so proud of the young people they are becoming and we know they all have a bright future ahead.
We also bid farewell to our Chair of Governors, Mrs Heffernan. She has been a governor at St Luke's for over 13 years, and she has always been a huge ambassador for the school. She will be very much missed by St Lukes.
I am so sad to be saying goodbye to Mrs Green today as she leaves us to further her career as a deputy head at a school in Shrewsbury. We wish her all the best and know that she will do a fantastic job.
Finally I hope that you all have a fabulous summer holiday and that the sun shines for us all. I'm off to Peppa Pig World - so please wish me luck!
Happy Summer Holidays!
Miss Evans
