Thank you for taking time to read this introduction to St Luke’s Catholic Primary School.
We hope you will want to come and observe the school in operation to see if St. Luke’s will provide the right environment for your child to begin or continue his or her journey into education. You will find lively, well-behaved children who take pride in what they are doing.
St. Luke’s will provide a secure and caring environment for your child where he or she will feel happy, valued and part of our school family. Our teaching and pastoral care is entirely Christ centred which distinguishes St. Luke’s as a Christian based school.
We have high expectations of each and every child in their academic, spiritual and physical progress. We expect staff to nurture your child’s natural curiosity through a carefully planned curriculum that is both dynamic and challenging.
We expect to work in partnership with you over your child’s development and we aim to keep you fully informed of progress as frequently as possible. Parents are welcome in school and we are extremely grateful to the large number who help us in a variety of ways. We are a good school as recognised by OFSTED, October 2014.
We run a 24 place After School Club which will look after children from the end of the school day until 6.00pm, a Breakfast Club which will look after children from 7.45am to 8.45am and a Holiday Club which will look after children from 8.00am until 6.00pm every day during certain weeks of school holidays.
If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment to view the school please do not hesitate to telephone.
